Guest Blog Post: Top Picks for Families to do in the Area

Guest Blog Post: Mommy by the River

Welcome to my Top Picks for the weekend of May 9 through 11, 2014. If you are a mom, I want to wish you a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend! I hope you get to relax a bit and enjoy your kids. This year, my family will be attending church on Saturday evening (always fun and different!), so this Mommy can (1) wake up whenever she wants (2) workout (3) take her time drinking coffee before we head out to our day’s adventures. (Did you see that honey?) Excuse me for a moment, I just wanted to remind the love of my life what I would like my Mother’s Day morning to look like!

In my Top Picks for this weekend, you will find fun places to bring your kids in the following towns: Algonquin, Barrington Hills, Bloomingdale, Elgin, Geneva, Hampshire, Hoffman Estates, Schaumburg, St. Charles, West Chicago, and Wheaton. Best of all, they are all FREE or CHEAP!

And if they ask who sent you…tell them The Mommy did!
