Guest Blog Post: Top Picks for Families to do in the Area

Guest Blog Post: Mommy by the River

I hope you had a fun and fantastic Halloween! My family hit the streets for trick-or-treating around 5:00 p.m. during what seemed to be a break in the rain, so we really enjoyed our Spring-like weather and managed to do quite well in the candy department. In case you wondered…my “Top Candy Picks” from my sons bag wereDots and Butterfinger. Shhhh….he’ll never miss them.

In my Top Picks for this weekend, you will find fun events to bring your kids to in the following towns: Bartlett, Elgin, Hoffman Estates, Schaumburg and Wheaton. Best of all, they are all FREE or CHEAP! Please note that all of the events listed are drop-in and require no registration with the exception of the Home Depot event.

DISCLAIMER: The events posted below may change due to weather and other crazy circumstances, so I do encourage you to phone and/or check event information before heading out. And if they ask who sent you…tell them The Mommy did!
