The Elgin Area Convention and Visitors Bureau (EACVB) is a state-certified, non-profit organization, serving
Chicagoland’s Northern Fox River Valley. The 13 communities the CVB represents for tourism promotion are
Bartlett, Carpentersville, East Dundee, Elgin, Gilberts, Hampshire, Huntley, Lake in the Hills, Marengo, Sleepy Hollow,
South Elgin, Union and West Dundee.
The Convention Bureau serves as the first point of contact for leisure travelers, meeting planners, sports tournament directors,
tour operators and special event planners. Marketing, advertising and promotional efforts are focused within 250 miles of the
Elgin Area in order to attract overnight visitors to the area.
Members of the Partnership Program receive exceptional benefits in order to promote and market their business as a
